Peter J. Micklewright
PGA Head Golf Professional
Pete is in his 13th year as Head Golf Professional at Edgewood and has been a PGA member since 2003. He comes from a golfing family where his father is a PGA Master Professional and his Aunt and Uncle are both PGA members. His previous experience has come from well respected facilities such as Baltusrol Golf Club, Plainfield Country Club, The Loxahatchee Club, and Blue Ridge Country Club. Pete also taught at the Simon Holmes academy for two winters. Pete qualified for the 2004, 2008 and 2010 National Club Professional Championship. Adding on to those playing achievements, Pete also holds the course record at Edgewood (63), Green Oaks Country Club (63), and West Shore Country Club (65). Pete was awarded the 2013 Tri State Merchandiser of the Year. Pete and his wife Julie, along with their daughter Lena and son John, currently reside in Irwin.
Outside Operations Supervisor
Steve starts his 17th year at Edgewood. He is married to his wife Nina and they have two daughters, Natasha, and Alicia. Steve has enjoyed working in the golf industry for over 25 years. His motto is "service with a smile", which you can see routinely see on a day to day basis. He is a graduate of Toledo University, and when he is not working you will find him at church..
PGA First Assistant Professional
Sean will be in his first year at Edgewood. Sean was elected into PGA membership in July of 2017, is a certified US Kids Golf Coach and certified with the Positive Coaching Alliance. In 2015, Sean received noteworthy industry recognition when he was named Tri-State TaylorMade-Adidas Assistant Professional of the Year. Sean is from Latrobe, PA and resides locally in Cheswick with his wife, Heather and son, Aiden. Sean started his career in golf by becoming a four-year letterman at Greater Latrobe High School and attending California University of Pennsylvania’s Golf Management program, where he played at the varsity level and was President of the Golf Management Society. Sean has worked at Latrobe Elks Golf Club, Sewickley Heights Golf Club and most recently at Pittsburgh Field Club.
PGA Assistant Golf Professional
Steve is in his 5th year here at Edgewood. Steve was elected into PGA membership in March of 2000 in the South Florida Section. Steve is a local, growing up in Point Breeze and graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School. Steve graduated from Mississippi State University with a Business Administration and Professional Golf Management degree. Steve has worked as the first assistant professional at the Ocean Reef Club, a private resort in Key Largo, Florida and Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin, host of the 2015 PGA Championship and future host the of 2020 Ryder Cup matches.
PGA Assistant Golf Professional
Tommy is beginning his second season at ECC. He was born and raised locally in Allison Park, Pennsylvania. He is a recent graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Penn State University. Tommy was elected to PGA membership in March of 2017 in the Tri-State Section. Tommy completed a three month internship at ECC in 2014, as well as a six month internship in 2016.
